Ultra minimalist website

Got some old and new projects up on the website

Plagiarism!

It's a strange feeling with mixed emotions when your work has been claimed by somebody else. I feel both flattered and mad.
I can understand if a first year student caught up in the generation of Tumblr and "no copyrights" steps over the line and copy a little bit to much, but when a trained architect with a masters degree does so.... hmmm.

Yovcho Gorchev, has a Master's degree in both Architecture and Film-design. He also has at least two projects where several of my drawings are pubished, some original and some altered, no place named as references or inspiration, but as the project.
Not very professional, Yovcho. Not at all.

Please do not enhance thin lines, Adobe

Just found a solution for a issue that has been bothering me and many of my friends, for as long as I've known what a vector drawing is.

Since I'm a vector fanatic this is great news.
Ok, here it is:
You know when you open a nice vector drawing in Acrobat and it looks messy with all fat lines, like image no.1, but in your vector software it looked fine, like image no.2
Just go to Edit/Preferences/Page display/ and make sure that enhance thin lines is un-checked. Problem solved forever, but unfortunately only on your machine, i.e. it doesn't apply to the document.

Nat Chard

Just found Nat Chard's blog. A small goldmine for guys like me (I tried to find a way to describe "guys like me" in a humble, objective and maybe unpretentious way for a minute or two now... unsuccessful).
Inspiring and beautiful stuff!

Mechanical Artifact

The end result of the workshop I've been holding at Lund School of Architecture.

Project brief (short version):

The artifact should not be seen as a functional product that solves a problem or is suitable for a specific need. It’s task can be extremely banal or even useless. This statement creates a generative oxymoron as the artifact get a meaningless purpose.
Instead of focusing on function this task takes aim on material-connetions, interaction, mechanics and kinetics.
