Please do not enhance thin lines, Adobe
Just found a solution for a issue that has been bothering me and many of my friends, for as long as I've known what a vector drawing is.
Since I'm a vector fanatic this is great news.
Ok, here it is:
You know when you open a nice vector drawing in Acrobat and it looks messy with all fat lines, like image no.1, but in your vector software it looked fine, like image no.2
Just go to Edit/Preferences/Page display/ and make sure that enhance thin lines is un-checked. Problem solved forever, but unfortunately only on your machine, i.e. it doesn't apply to the document.

If I haven't told you before I'm currently working as a project manager for Lund School of Architecture, and my job is to arrange Lund Architecture Symposium, in collaboration with the board of education.
Next Friday it's going down!
I'm super thrilled to have been able to hand-pick a group of people that are really inspiring, and who are showing such a broad spectrum of aproaches to architecture.

Celebrating Architecture September 9 [EDIT]
The Board of Education for the School of Architecture in Lund, Sweden, has together with guest Professor Sir Peter Cook, prepared a small symposium – Celebrating Architecture.
The aim of this symposium is to create a dynamic dialogue where architecture, design and education are the main focus. With the help of merited guests we are hoping to achieve a broad spectrum of dialogue and an innovative approach to progressive architectural education.
The theme this year is “What is the main focus in architecture today?”
To give the students the best start possible on their semester we annually invite notable and well-known architects from all over the world to participate in a symposium. Exciting lectures, discussions and critiques involve students and professors as well as practicing architects and designers. With the help of merited guests we are hoping to achieve a broad spectrum of dialogue and an innovative approach to progressive architectural education.
Celebrating Architecture is a day of lectures and discussions about designing for the future, considering the challenges of extreme environment, emerging technologies and innovative design aspects.

I got this fantastic book from my girlfriend for my birthday. I highly recommend it to anyone who's interested in graphic design.
