It's a strange feeling with mixed emotions when your work has been claimed by somebody else. I feel both flattered and mad.
I can understand if a first year student caught up in the generation of Tumblr and "no copyrights" steps over the line and copy a little bit to much, but when a trained architect with a masters degree does so.... hmmm.
Yovcho Gorchev, has a Master's degree in both Architecture and Film-design. He also has at least two projects where several of my drawings are pubished, some original and some altered, no place named as references or inspiration, but as the project.
Not very professional, Yovcho. Not at all.

The guy has the below text as a footer on his website. I'm quite shocked. He can have whatever opinion he wants on wether his own works should be open or not but he can't descide for others:
"YOU CAN (AND SHOULD) USE, DOWNLOAD AND ABUSE ALL OF THE WORKS ON THIS WEBSITE! SINCE 1917 ALL ART BECAME APPROPRIATED IN ONE FORM OR ANOTHER AND SO I DO NOT HOLD OR WANT TO HOLD ANY COPYRIGHT TO ANY OF THE ABOVE PROJECTS, ALTHOUGH SOME PEOPLE INVOLVED WITH THEM MIGHT, SO YOU BETTER CHECK WITH THEM FIRST! However, making no alterations to the works at all or worse - printing things like T-Shirts, selling them or using the projects to create any other merchandise (be it real or virtual) and passing it off as ‘official’ or as your authentic artwork is rather boring, so you can fuck off! Thank you!"
