Smout Allen | Lunar Wood

I have posted quite a few Smout Allen projects so far and I think they wander further from "conventional" architecture for every new project they do... And I love it.
They have a marvelous talent of giving their drawings a physical media to embody, as well as kick start the "drawing" with some type of simple, but intricate, mechanics.

wheels wires and lattices

Yeah, I know... Vertical urban farming.... quite cliché-esque, right!? (I was planning on naming this post "greenhouse inspiration", oh so boring)
But I must admit, that everything old that has a futuristic approach towards "industry" gets me hooked. Can't help it

Yesterdays model, todays sketch

One of my favorite steps in the creation of concept is giving the building-parts its individual name, both for the sake of strengthening the concept and for myself to establish a personal relationship to these parts.
